geoSounDraw
geoSounDraw is an interactive installation which captures the actor's sounds, images and gestures and translates them into sound compositions. The colour and area properties of each element that compose the drawing are taken as parameters for calculations for the sound's frequency and duration. The images are created using geographic information systems technology (GIS), allowing the drawing's manipulation in an interactive whiteboard with the presentation of systematized abstractions by means of geographic projections systems.
Carlos Praude : Lives and works in Brasilia. Post Graduated in Software Engineering and Graduated in Data Processing Technology. In fine arts, study and produces since 2001. In 2007 received the 7th Sergio Motta Art & Technology and Itaú Cultural Rumos Cibernética(2006) awards. In 2006 received a 1 minute film festival regional award. |
