e-book launching: "Hypermedia Design: from principles to elements"
presentation: The Hypermedia Design
"Being a language, the hypermedia presents a big challenge to those who produce investigations and
theoretical and practical reflections about it. Such condition is inherent to a knowledge field which
builds and expands in new perspectives every time, due the potentialities of the digital interactive media that
is able of imprint new paradigms to the language, by the predictions of researchers dedicated to analyse and
propose directions to configure the future immateriality.
Debating about the hypermedia design is an even more challenge task since it requires, at least, the domain about
both areas. With talent, Mônica Moura goes beyond in her researches. She not only discourse about hypermedia design
as also propose unique reflections towards the comprehension of a system engendered by its inherent principles, characteristics
and elements.
Along the path, she delivers notable points of view, which flows from her perspectives in an engaged balance between
analytical and synthetical considerations. She weaves an impeccable net of information permeated by the concepts of
multiplicity, metamorphosis, connectivity, potentiality, mobility, heterogeneity, complexity, cartography and topology
and processing and synthesis. From each node a characteristic emerges as an articulated thought that congregates
those principles and emanates precise and precious reasoning of non-linearity, hybridism, hypertextuality,
interactivity and navigability."
